Green Bee Eater rare He works from photographs andby Dona Dalton 4" tall x 8" long. Each is unique and will vary. "My intention is to capture gesture, personality, and something of the spirit, especially as it exists in relationship. I use a bandsaw, a sander, a rotary carver, a drill, poplar and pine to make my pieces. Like icing on a cake, coloring the wood carvings with layers of acrylics, metallic leaf or powders brings each piece to life."
